Living Colour has a new album out?? where have i been?
Here's what i enjoyed in '09 in no particular order.

Kreator-Hordes Of Chaos
Porcupine Tree-The Incident (major woody)
Mastodon-Crack the Skye (love it and want to have its babies!)
Katatonia-Night Is The New Day (love it!)
Sonic Youth-The Elder (still one of my fave bands ever)
Heaven and Hell- The Devil You Know
Megadeth- The Endgame (yes, I really like this one!)
Voivod-Infini (um, kind of a letdown for me. Don't listen to it much anymore. I tried.)

--------------------

theres only so many double kick drum'd songs with singers shouting the F word you can take before it becomes extremely dull.

i think that new GW is probably my favorite thing theyve done. they really opened up the style thing and it would be impossible to call them "just" black metal anymore. ive been a fan since they began, also (i was actually at the last Acid Bath show in Shreveport and ive been a fan of anything AB-related ever since)...

Things that Rocked EKH in 2009:

Getting Divorced
Getting Married (again)
Getting New Wife Pregnant

Recordwise: I'm just getting into Abbey Road but thats not really a new release is it?

I must add
METALLICA - "Orgullo, Pasion y Gloria: Tres Noches En La Ciudad de Mexico" ("Pride, Passion, and Glory: Three Nights in Mexico City") 2dvd/2cd set. FUCKIN' AMAZING. Metallica has always put their money where their metal is and this show proves that they spared no expense. One of the best (maybe best) produced concert dvds I own, for sound, video, camera work, just fuckin' brilliant.

Augustus Perygl Helicopter!

(Perygl means 'danger' in welsh, or not, depending on which welsh person you're talking to...)

If its a girl I shall disown it.

Slayer - World Painted Blood
Devourment - Unleash the Carnivore

everything else didn't rock me.

Damn it, Jim, I wasn't even aware that Living Color still existed, let alone had a new album out!

Gotta check that out!
