SALA APOLO BARCELONA 26/6 2009Thought I'd share my video clips from Barcelona in full. They're fairly short, and unfortunately the audio is mostly brutal. But on the other hand I was nice and close. The Sala Apolo was a sweet venue, a rare throwback like you won't find in North America anymore: Smoking allowed (and wood floors yet!), no security or barrier between the stage and the crowd, stage diving only interfered with twice out of dozens of dives throughout the evening.. (The miscreants stayed on stage too long.) One poor sucker did a swan clean onto the floor, he lived but it must have hurt a lot. Some pretty lively moshing for the opening punk acts. I didn't stay for Sepultura, had a train to catch...  If anyone has clean audio for the set I'd be very interested in dubbing over my video... Oh yeah ... the link! Note there is also a ZIP of all the files. I can't control the order in which the files appear in megaupload's listing unfortunately. My first attempt at megaupload. If it sucks too much I can post some to my QDrive, but I have harsh monthly bandwidth quotas there. Final note: I originally uploaded these as much larger files, but then figured out how to compress them without any apparent loss. However, if for some reason you can't view the ones in the above link, you can try the big ones which are still up there: big versions, original format. Talk about redundant, SmedHed would have a conniption!

The Tribal Convictions video is in-fuckin-tense. Thanks for the link.The chants for Piggy at the beginning of Astronomy @ the Summer Breeze show gave me chills. NP: Megadeth "1320" ... from the couple tracks I've heard already this new album should be a classick Megadeth thrash assault. Looking forward to the rest of the album. -------------------- yawn
