Ah...yes, ANVIL. Otherwise known as the poor man's RAVEN.

Seriously. Anvil's "Metal on Metal" makes Lee Aaron's "Metal Queen" sound like Metallica's "Metal up your Ass." (or the other way 'round)

Just pulled out my HARD N HEAVY pic disc, and STRENGTH OF STEEL which is igned "To Dave and his world of records Dave Allison LIPS" I also have a SoS poster inside signed by the 2 guys "To Record World keep it up"
I used to manage a Record World retail shop back in the day, and had some good connections.

NP: Strength Of Steel (not exactly a timeless masterpiece)

Just got back... kinda drunk so I'll keep it short. Genius. Go see it. The first 30 mins is fucking laugh out loud hilarious. Then it's equally funny / embarassing / cringeworthy / heartwarming... and all in a fully entertaining way. After the movie, Anvil came out and played. A brief Q&A session led to a live rendition of Metal on Metal. Well worth a tenner!

Didn't get to ask Keanu if he knows Kung Fu though...

Anvil always been one of my favorite band and the contribution of Ivan Hurd is really awasome in the last years.

Forged in Fire is a great album and I always respect this band.

I saw The Story of Anvil yesterday.
It rocks!
Funny, rocking, touching, METAL!
Any fan of rock and metal must see this even if you don't like Anvil.

If you live in Montreal it's now playing at Cinema du Parc.
