My Dad's old room-mate John McCoy (from the Gillian band, Mammoth and, erm, Joey Belladonna's band) played bass on the Space:1999 theme tune (the fantastic beginning AND rather limp end credits).

I can remember singing along to that, even though it had no words. Just repeat the title over and over again! But what I wanna know is how come we don't have that fuckin moon base yet? It's 2007 ferfuxake.

If I do the music, could you possibly do that as a b-side?

That's really cool! I love that show. Watched it religiously as a kid. I had one of the die-cast Eagle ships where the cargo pod came off. Wish I still had it. I have that song (the beginning theme) on a compilation of Sci-fi themes. Great to jam along to. Easy as hell to play too. You guys should seriously do it!

Right. Harry - I'll do the music and you can sing on it when you come visit. Nell can play that fantastic bassline.
She might want to bring her own P-bass though - my basses belong in the bass-guitar-store-cupboard at a special school and I can't see her even picking one up without making that face of hers. God help me if she sees my record collection.

Fucking weird thing is I got home last night and they showed an episode on TV. Haven't seen the show in 20 years. Must be that psychic vacuum I've heard about...
Anyway, I got some practice in singing along to the theme
