AUT'CHOSE Announce Replacement For Late VOIVOD Guitarist - Apr. 13, 2006
AUT'CHOSE, the lenedary '70s band from Montreal whose current lineup includes VOIVOD drummer Michel "Away" Langevin, have announced the addition of guitarist Alex Crowe (TRICKY WOO) to the group's ranks. Crowe joins the band as the replacement for late VOIVOD axeman Denis "Piggy" D'Amour, who passed away last August from complications of colon cancer.AUT'CHOSE's curent lineup is: Lucien Francoeur - Vocals
Jacques Racine - Guitar
Michel "Away" Langevin (VOIVOD) - Drums
Vincent Peake (ex-GROOVY AARDVARK, FLOATING WIDGET)- Bass
Joe Evil (GRIM SKUNK) - Keyboards
Alex Crowe (TRICKY WOO) - Guitar AUT'CHOSE's new lineup rehearsed for the first time earlier in the week. The band had previously utilized the services of guest guitarist Martin Dupuis (ex-GROOVY AARDVARK, now with LUMBERJACK).
