Check out the bass sound on this old Roxy Music vid. None other than King Crimson's mid 70's bassist John Wetton in a rare, captured performance. Full on Bass distortion.

To this day Wetton's playing still amazes me. Probably the best bassist in rock ever. He grooves so well with a song.
