VOIVOD Sign European Deal With NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS - Jan. 24, 2006

Nuclear Blast Records has announced the signing of the legendary metal band VOIVOD for the European territory. The Canadian experimental metallers are currently putting the finishing touches on their much-anticipated new album with producer Glen Robinson (VOIVOD's "Nothingface", TEA PARTY, GWAR) at Multisons studio in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A late spring release is expected.

Nuclear Blast Europe might have had some shitty bands so far (and some good ones), but they always had good distribution here in Europe, so at least the next 'Vod will be available quite easily, unlike the last one.

So...congrats to the band on this deal!

I think this was mentionned by Away weeks ago, but it's nice to see it made official.

I agree that Nuclear Blast has alot of mediocre bands on their roster, so this can only bring that label's value up.
