awesome fuckin art in those comix, and yes, I saw the HELL AWAITS demons as soon as the image came up. Which also reminds me, I still need to buy Hell Awaits cd since I made some big $$$ selling my original cd on Ebay a few months ago.I was thrilled to finally watch FANTASTIC PLANET again. It's a public domain film so anyone can run off copies. www.retroflicks.com has it for a good price on dvd along with lots of other cool old sci fi and b-movies. If you haven't seen this movie, you're missing out on a cool animated story. -------------------- yawn

One thing i discovered in Pilote when I was young around '74, was "Le Génie des alpages" (The genius of the Alps). A down to earth surrealist graphic novel that I must say, honestly, I didn't understand any shit. But the drawings were fantastic.Here's a nice cover :  Everywhere there's mountains and rocks talking, running, sheeps doing physics, playing poker, crusing girls, etc. They want to be humans.
