it was pretty kick ass. maybe the best translation of a comic to the big screen ever? even my gf dug it (she had never read the comic before).

anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Watched it on Opening Night, was damn good. And who else thought the Parol Officer was hot?

the parole officer was hot. Rourke was totally awesome.

but i think the blame for the gore falls squarely on Millers shoulders. they were merely recreating the comic, scene for scene.

eh, I could take it or leave it. Saw it Friday with me mum. I've never read nor seen the comic book, but didn't particularly care much for it overall. Clive Owen does it for me. The dude is just "somehow".

One of the most stylish movies ever.
Actors? Rourke and Del Toro are great as usual. The rest more or less walk up and down without too much acting.
One thing I don't like in some Rodriguez/Tarantino movies is the abuse of gore. Like, what for? Leaves some feeling of disgust after watching this.

Well, they were being as faithful to the comic as they could without heading into NC-17 zone. I felt it coulda been gory-er
