Tommy Vance has died

I guess this has been ignored a bit by the press seeing as Dave Allen died also.
The Friday Rock Show was pretty much the only way to hear "underground" stuff when I was at school. It is his fault I got into Possessed at an early age!!! There is nothing like it in the UK now.

Fuck! Dave Allen died! Bollocks. He was mucho funny.

Tommy Vance - bless him but on TV's Dumber & Dumber he looked like he was already dead. Superb lines though: "I'M TOMMY VANCE, YOU CAN'T SEE MY EYES AND YOU NEVER WILL!"

(Tommy Vance shouted and wore aviators at all times)

It was thanks to Tommy Vance and John Peel I got into all sorts. Now the two of them are gone there is nobody to take their place or to push the musical boundaries, especially metal, on radio in the UK. It is very sad.
