Deceased will be playing live for the first time in nearly three years in February, ‘05. It will be two shows in California (second time playing on the West Coast). The first show will be with Northern CA goresters Exhumed at The Knitting Factory in LA on February 11. Exhumed will be filming live footage for a future DVD release that night. The next night, Feb. 12, will be the annual Malt Soda Bash at The Pound in San Francisco. Last year the bash sold out to 500 people. This year the venue is remodeling and will hold 1000 people by the time the Malt Soda Bash happens. Deceased will be the only non punk band playing on this bill. The line up for the show will be...RKL (Rich Kids on LSD), Dr. Know, Deceased, China White, Fang, Crosstops, Cell Block 5, Mercury Legion, and Retox.

In early November, ‘04, Deceased will be entering the studio with Project: Failing Flesh co-founder/producer Kevin 131 to record their upcoming album "As The Weird Travel On." The recording will take place at his Assembly Line Studios in Virginia. Kevin looks forward to working with King, Mark, and the rest of the band as there is a cool past history between Deceased and (now) P:FF members Kevin and Tim. Back in the mid-80's they were all part of the very small but close knit metal scene in the VA/DC/MD areas. Kevin and Tim played in a band called Wreckage and the two bands used to hang out and rehearse at each others houses. In fact, Deceased have a really cool photo history section on their official site www.upthetombstones.com and if you check out the '85 and '86 sections there are some photos there. As for the sessions, all involved hope this collaboration will produce great results. Tracklisting for “As The Weird Travel On"-

-The Funeral Parlor's Secret, -Craving Illness, -Missing A Pulse, -A Witness To Suspiria, - Unwanted Memories (It Always Ends In Tears), -The Kept, -A Visit From Dread, -Fright.

Depends on the price of the tickets, but I might go.

Watching the music video, vocalist looks like Snake, One of the guitarists looks like Cliff Burton, and another looks like Piggy, bassist looks like John Myung with Facial hair.

Nothing too impressive sounding.
