I asked the same thing and Skulhed said they were adoption papers. I think they are like the plaques at a museum, and the "members" are really statues...

Speaking of ridiculous pics...did anyone see the spread on Mortiis in the Terrorizer mag? The interview is pretty damned ridiculous also, gave me a good chuckle.
