desolé..je prefere ecrire en francais pour etre sur de bien me faire comprendre..
je viens de trouver ce texte de Jason (datant de Octobre 2001) parlant de ses nombreux projets depuis qu'il a quitter Met.
c'est en anglais et j'aimerais svp que quelqu'un me dis qu'est ce qu'il voulait dire ...(je vais seulement en mettre une partie car c'est assez long)

Au début de l'année prochaine, Newsted prévoit retourner au studio avec Echobrain pour ensuite rejoindre le groupe métal expérimental Voivod, pour leur prochain, et possiblement dernier, album. Le groupe original s'est réuni pour l'occasion, sauf exception du bassiste Blacky. Newsted s'occupera, à part la production, de la basse pour l'album.

Faut pas s'inquiéter, c'est vieux, à propos du dernier album, ils ont déjà annoncé qu'ils feraient un autre album avec Jason et le producteur Glen Robinson qui a produit Nothingface.

you think Jason is with Voivod just for 1 album..??
it's what that mean?
if is what he do i think its not cool for the rest of the band..(if the band know ? )
if Jason left...someone have a idea who's
the next bassman ??
J'espere que depuis ce temps il a remis en consideration cette decision..qu'il va penser aux autre membres du band, aux nombreux fans qui l'admire le supporte loyalement depuis toute ces années..

j'aimerais avoir votre opinion...
si Jason quitte Voivod votre perception ou appreciation envers lui sera t'il le meme ?

C'est une très vieille nouvelle ! C'était avant que Newsted joigne Voïvod officiellement. Dans ce temps il était juste supposé enregistrer avec le band et non pas être membre officiel.

Comme disait l'autre, ils sont présentement en train de préparer le prochain

Before all you English speakers get panicky (because if I'm not mistaken Heimdall's already reassured Anne), please check that post out a little more closely. The message Anne's referring back to was from October 2001. It was referring to the album that eventually came out in 2003. Presumably that one wasn't the last, since they're working on another one as we speak. Well, sort of working on it.

Every album could be the last for EVERY band. How many bands only ever put out one album? Or don't even manage that? Confessor, anyone? How 'bout Union Made? Voivod's been around for 20 years...

....I forget what my point was....oh well. I'm pretty sure I had one. Damn Friday afternoons.

merci Heimdall d'avoir pris le temps de me traduire
y'a quand meme du positif si il fait un autre album avec eux..!
et ce qui me fait le plus ch*** c'est que me semble que Jason etait (ou plutot est) le canditat parfait pour Voivod..
Jason a deja dit qu'il prefere l'energie, le style, le son loud
ils se connaissent depuis longtemps et sont sur la meme longueur d'ondes sur bien des points..
ils jamment ensemble a chaque fois que l'occasion se presente
Jason est vraiment un fan de Voivod de puis longtemps..il l'a jamais nier et est fier de l'etre(combien de fois on l'a vu dans un show de Met. ou une entrevu porter un t-shirt de Voivod..?..

en tout cas moi avoir un band j'aimerais qu'il soit stable..pas toujours des 'in' and 'out' et toujours etre a la recherche (dans le cas de Voivod) du bassman ideal..
faut pas juste qui soit le best bassman, il doit y avoir de la chimie entre le band, de la creativité, disponibilité ect.....
ca doit pas etre evident et ne doit pas se trouver en passant une p'tite annonce dans le Voir..
je me croise les doigts pour l'avenir... Anne

ca fait deja un p'tit bout de temps que je viens sur ce site (et surtout le forum) mais je n'avais jamais poster avant parce que je comprend assez bien l'anglais mais quand je veux l'ecrire c'est different....(les verbes)

et comme je ne connais personne(je crois !) je n'osais pas ecrire un message en francais pour ne pas me faire dire "t'a pas remarquer que c,est en anglais ici?"
ca m'est arriver sur un autre forum y'a quelque mois...vraiment poche

Bienvenue Anne de Mourial! Je crois qu'il y a quelque part sur le forum un truc qui s'appelle "Pourquoi pas en français?", qui avait été commencé par moi. Fais une petite recherche si tu as du temps à perdre!

Damn I wish I had paid more attention in French class and laid off the hippie lettuce!
I am working on a Tewa translation, but unfortunately we don't have a written language so it is going to take some time as I have to learn how to write. BTW, Tewa is the language we speak here in Isleta Pueblo, NM. Luna and Hypergrrll...there will be a test!
