Where's Dave Murray? Isn't Maiden "mainstream" enough for Rolling Stone (yet)? Gary Rossington or Allen Collins (RIP) of Lynyrd Skynyrd? Last time I checked they were pretty fucking good. Allen Collins was actually METAL, he brought the "metallic" aspect to their music. Too bad booze killed the poor guy.
And remember old Chicago? Terry Kath (RIP)? Fucking talented as hell. Jimi Hendrix brought them on tour after seeing the dude play. THAT'S impressive.
