Ah, good ol' SYL.

This is usually where I start complaining about no UK dates, but they were last year, hahahahaha!

They're a really, really great band, and cool live too (if you don't mind being called a cunt by Devin between every song). Highly recommended.

Ho hum.

SJR is pretty good. Maybe you should hear them. You don't have to live in ALABAMA to get it.

Is Cathedral still on the bill w/SYL and Samael? I'll make the Atlanta gig if so. Also, can anyone tell me about Samael ? I believe they may be headlining this bill. Aside from compilations, I've heard nothing.

Samael used to be Black Metal but around the Passage album they started to incorpoate industrial/techno sounds. The Eternal album isn't Black Metal at all. It's got some good tracks (The Cross is my fave) but it's just...weak. Albums like Blood Ritual and Ceremony Of Opposites are way better.

Thank you sir, somehow I knew you could help me out on this one. I believe this will be an excellent bill to checkout.

This will be the first gig I ever wear earplugs at. Some time ago there was a thread about wearing earplugs to shows and a lot of friends here said that they wore em. I found out last week that my right ear is done forever. I had a CAT scan done and the only hope for that ear would be if there were a tumor in my head in that area. Well, my head looked normal so my right ear is finished (aside from the tens of thousands of crickets that ring there constantly). Anyway, I have to save the left ear as best I can, so earplug it is.
I'll be 40 in two weeks so I guess it is time for things to start messing up.
