Hell yeah they can! I seen 'Yes' twice in 04, amongst all the other concerts I went to that year. (I stopped counting around 13 or so, not including clubs) Yes happened to be one of the greatest... The first show was in your neck of the woods Atl City, which merited another viewing at Nissan Pavilion. These guys are pro's just like Rush... they know what they were doing and gave the crowd an excellent show. PS: cool ya like the (trip to 800) I came across that surfing around myspace. After looking at the influence list, I think the dots... at the end are where VoiVod is supposed to go, but the fuckers neglected to put it there! I think I will send them one msg with one word. 'VOIVOD' It's rare to me, getting something like that from the latin community, thats why it was all the more interesting. (if i could read their page, i'd add them) lol Been scouting these guys too, myspace is cool for that kinda thing... http://myspace.com/kinggiant little more 'doomy' but i've never heard or seen these guys and they are but mabye 5mi from me.

The YES montreux was a damn good show to watch and listen to. a couple of the guys (howe & wakeman) might look like they have one foot in the grave but they still know how to play their instruments, and the rhythm section of Squire & White can still get heavy and tight. Good set list with the classics, some new and different tunes.I had heard from some friends who have seen them in the last few years that they are still in great form and this is proof. Getting ready to put in some miles on the tread mile with the assistance of GILLAN "Glory Road" cranking thru the garage speakers. That should keep my pace up. -------------------- yawn

So, how's the new King Diamond Skul???BTW, Some goodies at work: DARKTHRONE HOLY DARKTHRONE DIVINE HERESY - Bleed the Fifth ENTOMBED - Serpent Saints LARD - Last Temptation of Reid, Pure Chewing Satisfaction PRONG - Prove You Wrong, Cleansing, Rude Awakening -------------------- "Forty-five moments of perfection translated through a cautionary escape into the perils of the mundane, the inherent entropy in ultimate order, and the potential threats of eternal, unchecked apathy in civilization; all cloaked in musical expression so thoughtful, creative and forward thinking that almost a quarter-century later, few can even comprehend it, much less match it." I've been listening to a lot of NWOBHM lately.AngelWitch Tank Iron Maiden Judas Priest - Just discovered 'Painkiller'! Also recently realized how awesome the early King Diamond records were.....Makes me wonder why I picked who to listen to back in the 80's - I think it had to do with either what I'd read about in one of the metal mags or what the album cover looked like. Cause as you guys remember before the internet, buying an album by someone you'd never heard of before was like taking your life in your hands...KD just looked like a scary version of Gene Simmons to me and so I always avoided him. But I've been playing THEM a hell of a lot..this is an absolute classic.
