The vocals is loud yes. It's really the first time we can what he's talking about - cause he's not a singer. Since 1975. And it was a decision we made after hearing Snake on his latest opus, Serge Gainsbourg in the 80s, Leonard Cohen, etc. I must admit that something went wrong in the mix of the song Chansons d'épouvante. But, hey!, the album was recorded in 2 days. Just like those bloody Beatles, Stones, Kinks, etc. We'll see what we'll do for the new CD.

So, it's a grower huh? I got my copy yesterday. After one listen it's got some great moments but hasn't floored me like I hoped. Chuffed to have the bonus track of 'The Secret' on the end though. That rules... I'll give it a few more listens to see if it sinks it's teeth in.

yeah, I just had to play it like 3 more times
the sound is really awesome, especially the drums.
The bonus track is great, one of my favorites too. And 'Wigstand'... (that solo!)

1349 - everything, but especially Beyond The Apocalypse. Frost is such a powerful drummer.

Grimskunk - Fieldtrip (saw 'em live last friday in Sherbrooke, and they pretty much played that entire album... I didnt know Vince Peake was with 'em now, either)
