I forgot to mention a nice record by Face to Face called "Standards & Practices" in which they cover a load of punk and pop songs. My favorites are:

- "What Difference Does It Make" (The Smiths)
- "Heaven" (Psychedelic Furs)
- "Merchandise" (Fugazi)
- "That's Entertainment" (The Jam)
- "Helpless" (Sugar)
- "Planet Earth" (Duran Duran -- great version!)

BTW, Social Distortion also did a cool version of a Psychedelic Furs' song called "Pretty in Pink". Their "poppiest" recording so far...

Unionmade- Ave Maria
High on Fire-The Usurper
Faith No More- Easy
Sepultura-Procreation (of the Wicked)

The Sepultura cover of CF's Procreation and Sabbaths's Symptoms of the Universe is on "Bloodrooted" a collection of cover songs and live stuff, also including: Drug Me (DK), and an incredible version of War by Bob Marley.
Simply a must-have Sepultura release.

cheers

Hey fellow voivodians, do not kill your brain cells in the search of that long forgotten cover song. One of these days I came across a decent webpage about, guess what?, cover tunes.

While it's not pertect, the page in question is probably the most complete source of this kind on the web. Check this out: http://covers.wiw.org
