I study also sociology, but it's only my first year there. interests: music, various mind-altering substances, paragliding, reading, was into rpg-s for quite a long time, too Voivod live experience: i saw them on the Negatron tour, here in Budapest with Neurosis. Unfortunately just before they began playing the friend with whom i went to see the show knocked himself out with some beer and a jazz cigarette, so i could see Voivod only through a projector cause i had to look after him (he really was in a bad shape, lol). That's all.

I live in Sweden in a town called Växjö.Found VVF in October 2002. Was working in construction and as a fireman when i met the wrong girl and moved here, booted her, quit my jobs and has been a schoolboy for 2 years now (Computers, networking) Besides being here i also like to go fishing, drink beer and talk noncence with friends. I've been Paragliding for 5 years, grounded myself for a few months now because i started to take to much risks. But now it's time to get sore again  Got into VoiVod back in 88 when i got Dimension Hatröss and also thinks that Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Napalm Death and Morbid Angel, Confessor + a shitload of other bands delivers comfy noise. Hello everyone in this touchy-feely thread,I'm fairly new to the board and a moderate poster, although I don't usually have any stunning ideas to share, just random opinions. I'm 27 and a native Texan. My family is all from NYC so I'm the odd one. I worked as an editor at an educational publishing company for the past several years after getting my degree in English. I'm a big geek who loves reading and studying and learning new languages, and I am working towards starting grad school. But I also love music and am learning to play guitar so that I can rock. I have been into Voivod since Killing Technology. My favorite bands today are more indie/punk, but I will always love the 'Vod! And to my peers here in the States - yes, hockey is cool (ha ha, cool, like ice, get it??), but I must point out that my boys the San Antonio Spurs are kicking basketball butt! Down, Lakers, Down! Any questions???

I also play guitar in a band called Poema Arcanvs (www.poemaarcanus.cl) Hobbies: making weird noises with my guitar + FX, drinking beer, wine, rum and PISCO (a typical chilean beverage that could leave you blind if consumed in excess). Non-mainstream cinema (K. Kieslowski's movies, for example). I have been around here for a while (yeah, I usually posted on the "other board" before), but most of the time I don't have anything interesting to say, so I keep my big mouth shut and just read. I'm a Voivod addict since "Dimension", which today happens to be the top album on my list, followed closely by KT and Nothingface. Of course The Mighty Vod is my all time favourite band. I love everything Voivod has recorded, including "Voivod" and the Forrest era. I also love: Zbigniew Preisner (soundtrack composer for Kieslowski's films) Nevermore, King Crimson, Kreator, The Gathering, Fields of the Nephilim, In the Woods, Testament, Rush, Carcass, Pain of Salvation, Napalm Death, Opeth, Destruction, Anacrusis, Death, etc, etc, etc.
Last movie watched: "Il Ultimo Bacio" ("The last kiss"). An Italian movie about the shit that is being almost 30. A really good movie that reflects my mood on these last two months very accurately.

Well, it's more fun to pretend to be this guy  He's got bigger titties than me.I'm Elena, or more commonly known as Missus H. I'm originally from the island of Newfoundland, so if any of you's bye's 'as ever met a Newf, you knows I talks a bit funny, right. I defected over to London England a few years ago to enjoy the fine quality of the weather, food, transport, service, manufactured pop bands and value for ££ Oh, and Voivod are the best thing to ever come out of Canada. Besides me, of course!

Hi, my name is Maldoror, and I'm an alcoholic.I just turned 26 in april and I live in Alma, a small industrial town in Quebec (land of VOIVOOOOOOOOOOD!) I have a master degree in french literature, which is very useful (as if french literature was useful!) for my work at the Ministère des Transports du Québec (which has nothing to do with french literature whatsoever). I'm the father of a little boy named Louis, who's a month old. Discovered Voivod in 89; I like any kind of music, from King Crimson to Serge Gainsbourg (this guy rules!). I'm obsessed with Voivod (those weird dissonant chords... it's a Brainscan!) I play guitar in a local rock band and I try to copy Piggy's style whenever I can (but no one is aware of this, shhh!)
