Opa, tem mais alguém que fala português no pedaço! Já somos 3 então??

Legal que vc conheça a Rock Press, Slaytanic. Tentei escrever uma matéria abrangente, falando desde o início da banda até a fase atual. O jeito mais fácil de convencer a editora da revista a publicar a matéria, foi dizer que o Jason tinha entrado na banda e os caras tavam excursionando com o Sepultura...

Sabe que hoje eu recebi um email da Chophouse pra avisar que eles estão me mandando uma cópia do CD! Hell yeah!!!!
Eu tinha escrito pros caras há um tempinho dizendo que eu estava trabalhando numa matéria sobre a banda e que qualquer material promocional seria útil. Agora fiquei sabendo que o CD está a caminho!
Pena que não chegou um pouco antes, pois daria pra acompanhar com as letras, etc. Anyway, fiquei bem contente (e agora minha coleção ficará quase completa - só faltam "Phobos" e "Kronik", mas eu não sou um grande fã da fase Eric Forrest...).

Bom, por enquanto é isso. O que acha de abrirmos um thread em português??

Portugese is a crazy language, there were a couple of guys talking at a gym I went to last week and I could not make head or tails of it.

And yeah, start a new Portugese topic - this one isn't about the eclipse anymore anyway...lol

Oh yes...Lunar something.

That explains it then! My theory why this thread went off...

1. Lunar = The Moon (Which is round.)
The Moon resembles a big, round Football in the sky.
2. Lunar = Loonies (That means CRAZY in British Language.)
We all know that Football fans are Loonies.
3. There are more Football fans amongst the South American residents of Planet Earth.
4. That means that most South Americans are Loonies and they love the Moon,
which looks like a big, round Football in the sky! (I said that already. lol!)

Ok Ok....just joking around here.

Hi, Notiall! I found it curious that you didn't have a clue on what the Brazilians were talking about at the gym...
I always wondered how the Portuguese language sounded to American/Canadian ears. I guess I don't need to wonder anymore...

K.K., I had a laugh reading your theory (moon=loonies=soccer fans=South Americans...). You're one creative voivodian...

Just in case you guys are curious about my discussion with Slaytanic, here it goes: I was telling him that I'm a contributing writer for a local music mag called Rock Press and I just finished a piece on Voïvod.
Brazilian rock magazines always ignored the band and I wish my article helps younger metalheads to discover the 'Vod legacy.

Well, the story will be published in the upcoming issue of RP and if you notice more Portuguese speakers joining this forum in the next few weeks, you'll have someone to blame...
