 Did anyone else read Courtney Love's ad: "Women required for International Rock Revolution. Join Courtney Love's touring band and get famous, see the world." "Must play bass or guitar (really play), and look like a Goddess. We like Emily the Strange, Lolita Goth, Patty Schemel's drumming, Nuggets and 'Performance' the Movie. We love Flea but don't want you to play like him." Now Miss Nell, I hear you can rip the Burton solos so I will pay you a prince(ss)ly sum to show up at the audition wearing an Isis costume (and of course you must sign up under the name, "Isis") and answer any questions with a "shazam!"

It was widely reported by all of the entertainment media but apparently Ms. Love put an full page ad in The Village Voice.If you're interested A. : "Those wishing to apply can send VHS videos to: P.O. Box C238, New York, NY 10011. There was a telephone number listed, 212-802-7269. It reaches an answering machine message of Courtney Love saying: "Hey, leave us your info, and you better be able to play (beep)." "
