The rumour wanted that the 13th album of the formation québécoise is their the more accessible, especially with the arrival of the ex-Metallica Jason Newsted to low. That the fans of Voïvod are reassured, Snake, Piggy and Away did not sell their heart in Newsted, which is done rather discrete besides on the photographs of the group inside the small pocket decorated with the futuristic drawings of the beater Michel Langevin. Instead of to present as a saver, bass player, which financed what is indisputably the best disc of Voïvod on the sound level, is satisfied to put its know-how at opens certainly to support pieces more hookers (one thinks of involving Gasmask Revival , We Carry One and Rebel Robot ) but who reflect the side stoner-rock'n'roll of Voïvod. However, the global solution remains still progressive. One has only to listen to Facing Up , Blame Us , The Multiverse and I Don' T Wanna Wake Up to be convinced some. Heres a bad tranlation from Altavista

Ha ha ha! (reverso.com is usually better than babelfish, btw) Okay, I'll try a translation of Christine Fortier's review, feel free to correct: The rumour was that the 13th album of this Quebec group would be more accessible, especially with the arrival of the ex-Metallica bassist, Jason Newsted. The fans of Voïvod can be reassured, Snake, Piggy and Away did not sell their souls to Newsted, whose presence is also rather discreet in the photos of the group inside the CD insert which is decorated with the futuristic drawings of drummer Michel Langevin. Instead of appearing in the role of rescuer, the bass player, who financed what is unarguably, sonically the best disc of Voïvod, contents himself with contributing his know-how to supporting parts of the project that are more hook-laden (thinking of the dynamic Gasmask Revival, We Carry On and Rebel Robot) but also reflective of the stoner-rock side of Voïvod. Having said that, the global approach of the music remains progressive. One only has to listen to Facing Up, Blame Us, The Multiverse and I Don't Wanna Wake Up to be convinced.
