Sheep ought not to be judged by the actions of wolves who wear wool. Religion in general, and Christianity in particular, can be a "magnet for the unscrupulous" who prey upon and exploit the sincere and trusting souls who belong to the community of faith. Further, to blame "religious wars" exclusively on religion is naive. Religious wars of the past and present arise as much from economic, political, and social conflict as from religion per se.It wouldn't take too many historical atheist dictators to match or surpass the casualties of religious wars, not starting with Nero, let alone the ones in this century who've made quite the names for themselves. This is not to let Christianity off the hook by any means, but let's be fair, shall we.

He explains his opinions on the sep 11 tragedy, and surrounding tragedies on "The Big Ka-Boom", also on "Machine Gun in a Clowns Hand." Noam Chomsky is the original source for a lot of his thinking and Noam's material is pretty easy to find.

A british scientist recently said to a couple of colleagues, one from Israel and one from the US: "Medical science, in my country, is so advanced that we can remove the brain of a man, put it in another man's head and let him able to look for a job in six weeks."The Israeli scientist replied: "This is a piece of cake for us. We can remove the brain of a man, put it in another one's head and let him able to prepare for war in just four weeks!" The US scientist, wanting to be on the top, argumented: "You, my dear felows, are way behind us. We, recently, removed a brainless man from Texas, put him in the White House, and now we have half the country looking for a job and the other half preparing for war."
