Since my new job will be at a Ministry of Transport, I give you... a real BLOWER!
Now, put the song on and enjoy the pictures!

Mmm... what is it? It looks like the Abitibi-Price paper factory next to my home!

But for Gasmask Revival, I'd prefer a picture of a riot, maybe those anti-globalization riots in Quebec City.

(Employé de la voirie? Plutôt le Ministère de la Sphate!)

Actually, when I see these industrial settings, I think of Pre-Ignition. It's the song I always have in mind when I'm in Jonquière, passing by the Alcan factories!

Y'know, I have that same feeling. The train I pick to go to São Paulo crosses some huge industries on its way. And Pre-Ignition always comes to mind when I look through the window. What is it, some kind of subliminal message contained?

Hmm, I could try to find a picture of the Jonquière Alcan factory, since that's where the Vod guys grew up.

Any quebecers here has any childhood memories about the fear of being eaten by a snow blower while hidding in a secret base in the snow?

I posted some pics of the Arvida Alcan factory somewhere here in this forum but I can't find them right now, I think the topic was something like 'summer vacation'.

Those little sidewalk snowblowers still freak me out. And when is it going to get warm? It's -22c now! I know, whine, whine, whine.

I have been hearing Pre-Ignition intermittently in my mind
since the day I first listened to it, some 13 years ago.
It contains some of Voivod's most powerful harmonic overtones and dissonances,
not to mention some of the finest rhythmic chaos and
melodic disorders and abominations ever recorded.

-The song HAS no equal.

Naw man, This jam was totally wrote about after I mow my lawn, I swear. "Runs like Blower... Eats (fingers) like a grinder!" Then I blow the grass of the sidewalk. It's gotta be!

here's the very source of your fear Maldoror

Anyway, here's the link to the Alcan pics: http://216.40.213.37/~admin79/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000422
