Seems to me that this is crying out for someone to encode this and post a link. ;-)
Boy do I miss the days of being able to see Voivod videos. I once had the "Tribal Convictions" video on VHS. Silly me for not keeping it around. What I wouldn't do to have all of the Voivod videos in prime quality these days!

That was the first time I'd ever seen the video for The Tower and I must say I didn't like it. It made no sense (mind you, not many videos do) and I didn't like the edit of the song. It was nicely shot and all, but what the hell was that chick doing? There was no need for her in the video at all. And when she smashes that chair...please. That shit should be saved for teenage angst/nu-metal videos, not Voivod.
I also noticed the edit of the Hangar 18 video is different than the original. The original was never the entire song, but it seems that Much Music is shortening the songs even more. For what reason, I don't know.

I agree. The video for the Tower blows. The editing of the song sucked too, too bad cuz i enjoy listening to that song on CD when its played in its entirety.
I miss the days of Snake stuck in a maze of a giant vaccuum making weird faces and then bouncing off all the walls, in video.
