Dunno why, but I have a slight impression that Mezcal would die for a guitar just like that last one... I can be wrong, though.

That second one looks a lot like mine, but mine's cuter because it's got sparkly little heart stickers on it.

My first 'real guitar',1980 - stolen 1981: Gibson "The Paul"
Second, 1987-1993 - lost to pawn shop (like an irresponsible, broke IDIOT!) 1976 Gibson Flying V
(picure is similar to my customization, but with more of a Black/ White Schenker-style alternation)

Here's mine - '69 Gretsch Double Anniversary (I borrowed this pic from another site, though mine is identical). My wife bought it for me for Christmas a couple of years ago. I LOVE this guitar, and yes, I know - it is about as 'metal' as Lionel Richie. It's got such beautiful tone, though. Plus, put through proper effects, you can actually get some nice deep chugging riffage out of it. Phwoooar

Who cares if it's metal? I love Gretsch guitars.

Damn, Kane, I bet that one cost some serious cash. You play any Chet Atkins on her? Bet it sounds great. I'd love to have one.

HAHAHA! That reminds me of a guitar PRINCE used to play in concert, it would squirt out white stuff (he would pretend he was jacking it and aim it at the crowd). Glad I wasn't there!!

It DOES sound great. I always loved Gretsch and Rickenbacker - it's a George Harrison thing, I guess.

LMFAO @ the wangcaster
Man ... i feel cheap ... My most expensive guitar ( the gun shaped one ) cost me like 300 $ back in 88 in a Jonquiere or Chicoutimi music store ( don't remember wich city , both city are damn close to each other and i've been there only once ...) . So yes it's cheap , it would need new pickups and a new neck ...
Btw , maybe there's more than 1 music store in chicoutimi/jonquiere , i don't remember the name of the store . But maybe it's the same store that Piggy , away and blacky bought their first instruments ?
These days , i'm only playing with my classical guitar ( i play like 2-3 hours a week now ) since i've sold my peavy bravo 112 amp on the afternoon of june 23 two years ago to get some cocaine for the St-Jean Baptiste party ... I was dumb ... So yes , i feel your pain Tangento . J/k ...
