I heard it was because he was pissed that WASP were headlining instead of Metallica. And that as a result he was escorted out of the building...

I do like some of the old WASP stuff, the first, Last Command and even Headless Children. But the story sure was funny, since Blackie has some historic of being an asshole!

Well, I remember that story. Back then, there were "Poseur" vs "True Metal Head" . And of Course Voivod were the Real One. So Jean-Yves aka Blacky was among us at the show yelling and insulting Mr Lawless for being nothing less than a "poseur". That was just for fun, and what a funny evening we had.

Correction: Metallica were headlining, and of course Cliff Burton was there. And as opening act WASP & Armored Saint.
