Ok, other than "Sex in the City" what do you consider good television Nia?

I grabbed this from the STICKERS ON YOUR VEHICLE topic. Okay, okay, I have watched Sex in the City in the past, but the last season has been real crap.

I like a lot of tv that I could probably listen to on the radio, lol, like the Charlie Rose show on PBS. I also like Insider the Actor's Studio (except when host James Lipton asks guests to respond to questions as if they were one of their characters, that bugs me) because it's interesting to me to hear what paths people took to develop their artistic skills.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corp's series of documentaries on Sunday and Monday nights (the Passionate Eye and Rough Cuts) is usually good tv. I like watching Venture on the CBC too, a recent program was about how one indiscreet e-mail brings an entire corporation to its knees.

Other good tv - Buffy. I don't mind Elimidate if I've got 30 minutes to kill. It's fun to see how low people will go. It's like they regress to junior high school. British sitcoms. They kick US and Canadian tv's butt in that dept. Lately I've been watching Dollaraclip on Musique Plus which is realy cheap videos but I have to admit I can barely understand the VJ Louis-José Houde half the time because he talks about a thousand words a minute.

Yeah, I love some of those Britcoms too. That new one about the thirtysomethings...can't remember the name of it. Are You Being Served is pretty good at times as well as the Yes,Minister and Yes, Prime Minister series. And Keeping Up Appeances can be quite good. Alonzo is my hero.

Nia, I thought you would have liked Frontline too. They ususally make very intelligent news documentaries.

The Fast Show ( I went to see this live last month - fucking excellent)
The Office
Alan Partridge
Old 1940's Tex Avery cartoons.
That's about all I watch these days! Apart from Dawsons Creek !!!!
What's up with Buffy these days. I keep catching bits of it lately. I was never really into it, and I know we're about 2 years behind over here in the UK, but she's just wondering about going "I don't wanna talk about it" whenever anyone asks her something! It's a bit dull. I think she's just come back from the dead or something. I guess death can be a bit of a personality killer!! I'm only checking it out cause I'm intrigued by this 'evil' willow I've heard you talk about.

Suits you, sir!

This is what I've been watchin lately:

Monty P. FC + other newer Brit comedies
Hockey
a couple of good local comedy series
Farscape
Really, really bad old Italian, German and French porn movies on the local cable channel ("Schnell! Ja! Gib mich deine Liebensatz! Ooh!" )
Any documents on nature or space

the list is much longer, these come to mind first. The Simpsons, reruns of 3rd Stone from the Sun...if I only had the time...
