Nothingface, I thought you might want to know that my friends' baby (10 weeks now) can only be lulled out of hysteria into sleep when they play Andrew W.K. Go figure...

When my whife was carrying my first son MILLE she used to listen a lot to Type o Negative's October Rust. Believe it or not but when Mille came and was in stress she used to play October rust again and he came at ease.

Yeah, thinking of names that all kinda sucked i thought let's look into metal magazine Aardschok. Then it was obvious it had to be Mille. First of all i like the band a lot and second it's a name that is very not common here in Holland (Yes!!)

My wife said at once yes, was only not sure it was going to be a dude. Fortunately it was one.

Otherwise it might have been Mielle or something.

My second son is named after guiterplayer of rage against the machine "Gian".

We couldn't deceide wether it was going to be Gian or GYan. So we made it Giyan....

Hey, I named my daughter after an album of Mercyful Fate "Melissa". She's ten months old now and SREEEEEAAAAMING like King Diamond. I'm glad I didn't named her after Angela of Arch Enemy hahaha.

If I ever had a kid I'd designate it a serial number. The next kid I had I'd name after that Ministry album that cannot be pronounced and people call it something else anyway. Psalm 69? Connect the Goddamn Dooooooooots!!!

Actually I was going to have two kids, the first called Grotesque and the second one called Even Worse. Grotesque would die in a road accident or something and then, when he was 18, people whould say to Even Worse: 'Even Worse than what, man?' and he'd say, 'It was Grotesque and it died'.

Oh man, jesus, this made a lot more sense when I was on acid.
