I've just found this websites when searching for "voivod" http://metalmayham.com/mysticalworld/vampires.htm
I'didn't read the whole thing yet, just wanted to share this with you vodheads !
here's a definition i found of the word "voivod"

In parts of Poland, the local govenor is called a Voivod.
